Last one today, I promise.
Hotmail started threatening to delete my inbox stuff, so I took all the messages I'd been saving from my Allen and KTV and Maggie correspondences and set up new hotmail accounts and sent them there to be dealt with at a later date.
Hotmail deleted them.
These three are brilliant writers of letters, and so am I, occasionally, when writing to them. That's a year or so of really good reading, gone. Why do I keep trusting computers and the WWW not to eat my soul?
Goddammit. I'm going to go bark at the dog for a while until I calm down some.

Hotmail sucks ass. They're looking for more money. They are constantly threatning to delete my things which before they happily left alone. BASTARDS

you just got to keep it under the 2mb limit thing. how the hell did it manage to delete everything that quickly anyway? couldn't you just browse backwards to it? hotmail is ornery lately but generally also stupid.

nah, cause they deleted the whole account, claiming i'd taken too long to access it since the last time.
i thought they'd gotten all of them, but actually it was just the maggie account. still sad, but two out of three is ok i guess.

Same thing happened to me, also with a great deal of Allen-related writing loss. Sad, crushing disappointment, impotent rage.
So I just stopped writing e-mail at that point.

you know, if allen were god, he'd be the deist god. think about it. you know what i mean.
there was an earthquake here. i felt it. in santa monica. 94 minutes ago. before that, a brush fire.
allen is not god.
