About that river trip...
Remember how I said we should go to the Yuba on July 7? I actually meant we should go on Sunday, July 8. Sunday, as you know, was originally named for the Norse god Sunne, the god of rivers. So it is the only possible day of the week on which to visit a river.
Also, we're having my grandfather's birthday party on Saturday.
Anyway, sorry for the change. But mark your calendars for Sunne-day, July 8, for fabulous Yuba adventures!

Marked! And if anyone wants to do a three-person canoe and trade off between paddling and not paddling, I will have incredibly sore shoulders and want to be not paddling sometimes.

I should point out the Yuba is the rapids river, not the canoe river, because sometimes those rivers get confused.
However, as we are also going canoing in July, your point is well taken. Because last time, ow, my abs.

Oh right! I was completely confused. I will be around for the Yuba trip but not the canoeing trip, in all probability. And I shall do no paddling whatsoever!
