Maybe he swam away

Just got a call from a detective. Apparently, one of my school friends is an official missing person, which I guess would explain why he hasn't responded to my emails lately. It was weird to be giving my hesitant opinion about the life and psychology of someone I've only known a few months; I kept prefacing everything with "Let me stress that I hardly know anything about him and for all I know everything he ever said to me was a lie, so I am not a good source for this..." I guess in that case I should have just clammed up, but you want to do what you can in a case like this don't you? I hate to think anything's happened to him; the detective seems to be hoping he's just voluntarily gone AWOL for a while.

sort of hard for me to grasp. (also this is a true one, in case anyone wonders. if it were fake there would be more details.)

Posted by: didofoot at February 23, 2005 03:34 PM

yeah, i thought if it were fake it would be funnier.

whoa, he was getting married? whoa, he grew a goatee?

Posted by: didofoot at February 23, 2005 05:18 PM

Wow, he's gotten a lot of press.

ok. i assumed he had gone missing recently. like in the last 72 hours. but this is from JANUARY 3rd. this is totally scary now.

Posted by: michele [TypeKey Profile Page] at February 23, 2005 11:21 PM

and he worked at genentech. that's where sophia and her sister work, although there's like 5000 people that work there, so they probably didn't know him. that is a scary story.

you should ask him. maybe they do know each other. if i worked somewhere with twin lesbians i would make sure to know them, personally, so chances are good.

Posted by: michele [TypeKey Profile Page] at February 24, 2005 10:32 AM

him? i mean them. you should ask them. wow. i'm dumb.

Posted by: michele [TypeKey Profile Page] at February 24, 2005 10:33 AM

well, if anybody at work knew they like girls, then maybe, but as it stands, most people just think "there's something about them, i can't put my finger on it."

Posted by: erica at February 24, 2005 02:57 PM

please, please, people, refrain from the finger jokes. sheesh, now who's dumb.

Posted by: erica at February 24, 2005 02:58 PM

well even if i only knew they were twins i would still want to be friends with them. i love twins. my best friends growing up were twins. jennifer and jessica. yes. those were their names. we totally took pictures of each other's vaginas once. admittedly, there wasn't any film in the camera, but still.

my experiences with twins are completely skewed aren't they?

also, i feel shitty having this conversation on this post. man, i hope he's just in vegas with some blond girl. for the last month and a half.

Posted by: michele at February 24, 2005 03:07 PM

i'm sure if he were reading this, even he would be having the same reaction: you took pictures of each other's vaginas???

Posted by: didofoot at February 24, 2005 04:27 PM

and what of it? girls are curious too.

Posted by: michele at February 24, 2005 04:28 PM

man i don't think i even noticed my OWN for the first five or six years.

Posted by: didofoot at February 24, 2005 04:35 PM

I knew twins in middle school, named Sabrina and Samantha. Yes, really.
From what I can remember, they were bitches.
And from what I've heard, they were also whores.
I never took pictures of their vaginas, but would be not at all surprised if someone else had.

maybe i was precocious. i don't remember how old i was though. i was certainly interested though. i remember that much.

Posted by: michele at February 24, 2005 10:29 PM

dood, that's totally hot.
Michele's totally hot.

There, I said it. ;)

ps- I think that everyone in the UC Davis drama dept. thinks I'm a lesbian. Mind you, I've done nothing to stop such rumors. People are scared of me. It's oddly powerful.
